Based out of NJ/NYC, Sean Kawamoto is the founder of Kawamotion Production. Born and raised in New Jersey, he graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Advertising Photography. Attended School of Visual Arts to pursue an education in Cinematography and achieved knowledge of the RED Epic from the REDucation Advanced Seminar in Long Beach, California. 

Working along side with some inspirational and motivated people brought him to where he is now. Kawamoto has a talented eye for light and a great sense of composition, but is still looking to expand his knowledge and creativity. Hard working and dedicated to take on any situation handed down to him. His vision and passion brought him to the start of his own personal project in film making. Directing, producing and shooting a short film called "Only Way Out" led to the development of Kawamotion. Getting around the obstacles and challenges of a first time film maker only helped him grow stronger as a cinematographer. Striving for greatness with big dreams, he always keeps an open mind for life to take him wherever it plans to go.
